Urgent requests go through immediately, by rules you set
Not every call can wait. You define which requests go straight to your team, and Servus KI transfers exactly those calls, at the times when somebody is reachable. The AI makes no medical assessment.
What is behind it
01
Your rules, not the AI's
You define which requests are transferred immediately. Servus KI judges no symptoms and makes no medical decision.
02
Transfer only when somebody is there
Transfers follow your opening and availability hours. Outside those hours nothing is put through into the void; the route you defined is named instead.
03
The emergency number stays the emergency number
For acute emergencies Servus KI names the emergency number stored for your country instead of looking for an appointment.
How it works in practice
- 1
A call contains a request you have defined as one to transfer immediately. Servus KI puts the call through to the number you named without detour.
- 2
The same call at 21:00, outside your hours. Servus KI does not transfer into the void but names the route you defined, for example the out-of-hours service or the emergency number.
- 3
A request is unclear. Servus KI asks a specific question rather than guessing, then follows your rule.
Today and with Servus KI
Today
Whether a call is urgent often depends on who picks up and how full the waiting room is. Outside consultation hours nobody hears the call at all.
With Servus KI
Urgent requests follow a rule that is applied the same way every time, and outside your hours callers get clear information instead of a ringing tone.

Frequently asked questions
Does Servus KI decide whether a request is medically urgent?
No. Servus KI makes no medical assessment. Calls are transferred solely by the rules your practice has set.
Which number are calls transferred to?
To the number you store for it: reception, an on-call phone or another extension. You can also set different destinations per time window.
What happens outside your availability hours?
Then nothing is transferred. Instead Servus KI names the route you stored, for example the medical out-of-hours service or the emergency number.
Does Servus KI replace the emergency number?
No. For acute emergencies Servus KI points to the emergency number stored, in Austria the ambulance service on 144.
